Yup.....today is the day were all drivers of California must use "Hands-free Cellphone". This is the new law Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed which prohibits driver from using hand-held cellphones on California's roadways beginning July 1st, 2008 (today). Law enforcement officers will be able to pull drivers over for using handheld wireless phones. The fines are $20 for the first offense and $50 for subsequent convictions, regardless of age. Drivers are still allowed to make emergency phone calls without using a hands-free device.Labels: Interesting Finds
