My kids are finally at that age where they're asking, "Mom, what are you going to be for Halloween?" Sadly, saying "a mom" doesn't fly. My daughters follow up with a lengthy list of very clever suggestions, which include: a fairy, a ghost, a witch," any character from "Wonder Pets," and my personal favorite, a crazy rock star lady with a wacky wig (said with a little giggle).
The bottom line? They want me to dress up for Halloween. Will I do it? Awww yeah.
I did a television segment last week on DIY Halloween costumes for kids, and I'm just going to snag one of those ideas for myself. Ahoy matey, I'm going to be a pirate! (I'll have a photo tutorial on the kid's version of that costume tomorrow...it's so easy you can make it on Halloween.)
