A friends side of view
Monday, September 29, 2008 @ 1:51 PM

I talked to a friend that now living in Canada just a few weeks ago. He recently talked to me how lucky he is having his girlfriend. There is a envious feeling when I heard the word "lucky". I ask myself, Am I lucky too? I ask that question because having my two beautiful princess feels like I am the luckiest person in the world but there is a "BUT" word always popping out my mind, because for me luckiest means, you are totally happy on what you have in life.

Yes, I have my princesses but my husband, i don't know if I can still feel the word lucky. We always argue in simple things, it annoys me when talk about things about my past and more blah blah, it goes to my nerves when he talk about nonsense things..grrr! He even talk about filing a divorce. I don't know what to do just to make him happy and contented with our marriage but all I do is give my love to him but in the end still no return. I don't feel appreciated being his wife. I always feel the loneliness with him, when this gonna end?...What a life.

Here are some talks he (friend) shared with me:
>>alam mo madami tao.. masaya namn dapat kung iisipin mo.. talagang sila n din ang may prob sa sarili nila

>>usually pag may nagrereklamo it means may karekla-reklamo din naman pero hindi din naman sa lahat ng oras ganun

>>like you need balance and you need to weigh things just right.. people make mistakes and everyone does..it's also a matter of giving understanding when needed not when wanted

>>you see. there's this certain conflict between need and want but hey?... need and want compliments each... sometimes you need to do the things that you NEED for an individual to gain something they want

>>life is not a battle of skills..it's a battle of wills

I'm inspired in his word in writing this post and it make me think many things about my life.

Find good recipes
@ 11:45 AM

Ever since I was a little girl, I have a fashion of cooking. My mom thought me how to cook and learn it little by little. As I grow up it improves, the love of cooking is there. That's why I want to expand it and want to try baking. In the Philippines, on a regular living, baking is not really the center of cooking food. Mostly Filipino only use stove in almost everything they want to cook. Baking for them is gas consuming, they want all their food almost did by a gas or electric stove even sometimes using only woods. I grew up in the Philippines and now migrated in United States. Here, I can can any food I want to cook. All I have to do is go online find some recipe, write down ingredients and go to the grocery store. One day I have in the mood of making cookies. I have an online site that always go to when it comes to food recipe. I found there some cookie recipes that I think my kids will like. Write down again and buy the ingredients. I made some oatmeal cookies and my family love it. I have no more to worry for the coming Thanksgiving and Christmas they almost have everything that I'm looking for when it comes to yummy food recipe. Visit Myrecipes.com for the find out.

Breastmilk on ice cream
Friday, September 26, 2008 @ 7:58 PM

PETA wants world-famous Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream to tap nursing moms, rather than cows, for the milk used in its ice cream. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is asking the ice cream maker to begin using breast milk in its products instead of cow's milk, saying it would reduce the suffering of cows and calves and give ice cream lovers a healthier product. The idea got a cool reception Thursday from Ben & Jerry's officials, the company's customers and even La Leche League International, the world's oldest breast-feeding support organization, which promotes the practice — for babies, anyway. PETA wrote a letter to company founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield on Tuesday, telling them cow's milk is hazardous and that milking them is cruel.

"If Ben and Jerry's replaced the cow's milk in its ice cream with breast milk, your customers — and cows — would reap the benefits," wrote Tracy Reiman, executive vice president of the animal rights advocacy group. She said dairy products have been linked to juvenile diabetes, allergies and obesity. Ashley Byrne, a campaign coordinator for PETA, acknowledged the implausibility of substituting breast milk for cow's milk, but said it's no stranger than humans consuming the milk of another species. "We're aware this idea is somewhat absurd, and that putting it into practice is a stretch. At the time same, it's pretty absurd for us to be drinking the milk of cows," she said.

It takes about 12 pounds — or 1 1/2 gallons of milk — to make a gallon of ice cream. Ben & Jerry's, which gets its milk exclusively from Vermont cows, won't say how much milk it uses or how much ice cream it sells. As a standardized product under federal regulations, ice cream must be made with milk from healthy cows. Ice cream made from goat's milk, for example, would have to be labeled as such. Presumably, so would mother's milk ice cream. To Ben & Jerry's, the idea is udderly ridiculous.

"We applaud PETA's novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother's milk is best used for her child," spokesman Sean Greenwood said in an e-mail. He didn't respond to requests for an interview. Leon Berthiaume, general manager of the St. Albans Cooperative Creamery, which provides milk products to Ben & Jerry's, called the dairy products "among the safest in the world. Milk from cows has long-term health benefits and has been proven to be safe and healthy and an important part of the American diet for generations," he said. "I'm not ready to make that change." Cow's milk and mother's milk aren't interchangeable, according to La Leche spokeswoman Jane Crouse, who says breast milk is a dynamic substance that's different with each woman and each child and might have difficulty being processed into ice cream.

Lose Weight Today
@ 6:16 PM

I've been struggling with losing my weight. I'm not that obese but I have some fat that I think ned to be burn. I've been looking for a solution for my problem and saw lots of reviews about diet pills on television and on the web. The I saw phentermine, Phentermine is one such pill that was ranked 35 out of 200 by the ConsumerPriceWatch.net website. But to be honest I'm concern about the side effect. Consumer Price Watch reviewed that the drug possible side effect are tachycardia (increased heart rate) and elevated blood pressure but it is only for particular people. It may also cause dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, restlessness, and insomnia. But the product has a good side like FDA approved since 1956. Its been widely use by obese people to suppress hunger and lose weight. For my side of opinion, every diet pills even ordinary drugs have side effects. For more safety is consult a doctor. If your looking for honest reviews, affordable, quickly and afordable about diet pills, visit ConsumerPriceWatch.net

rugs rugs rugs
Thursday, September 25, 2008 @ 7:05 AM

What will stop Area Rugs from rolling up on the edges?tried those spongy rug gripper things? They're about the same size as the rug and keep it in place. Also, you can buy rug tape, but I don't know if it would damage your floor or not. They sell a product called carpet tape that keeps the ends down. You can use double sided tape or even duct tape if you aren't worried about getting it up, just double it over on itself and put under the edge of the carpet. The carpet tape is for that purpose.Your area rugs sound fairly new. They are sent by the manufacturer on a cardboard tube and wrapped in plastic for years sometimes. If not from the manufacturer then they are often rolled by the flooring store. It won't permanently damage them they just need to be re rolled the other way or what we like to call reverse rolled. Concentrate on straightening and rolling the short side of the area rug. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes. Sometimes they have to sit reverse rolled in a warm area to loosen for a few days. If your area rug is not curled from being new and is fairly light weight use a thin non slip pad and double sided carpet tape to prevent shifting. for Cheap Rugs and any kind of quality Rugs, visit http://www.superiorrugs.com

Philipipines is now in panic mode
@ 1:19 AM

I heard from TFC (The Filipino Channel) that Philippines is now banning on selling milks, biscuit or any products that is made in China milk. We all know that there is another issue about China products. Well, whats new with China? nothing but poisonous products that can harm a person or even death. China is now facing another scandal about contaminated milk with close to 13,000 Chinese children crowded in hospitals from tainted milk. The milk not only came from one company or two company of milks they found out, when they tested the milks that is made in China, I think 60% of dairy products they tested is positive with Melamine. OMG, what is happening with this Chinese people? When they going to stop this horrible happenings. China scare is up again, whats next? Please, have a conscience!

Clay Aiken confirmed that his GAY
Wednesday, September 24, 2008 @ 12:47 AM

I don't think is big tabloid issue ever. Lot of celebrity actually revealed there sexuality so many times. Clay Aiken has confirmed, in an interview featured on the cover of the upcoming issue of People magazine and first leaked on Perez Hilton's site, that he is indeed, homosexual. But now Clay has finally come out, in a People article accompanied by the first published photos of his new bouncing baby boy, Parker Foster (who apparently was his inspiration for telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth here, as he told the mag, "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things"). Kudos to Clay for being an honest role model for his child, and I'm certain that any worries Clay--or, probably more specifically, his handlers--had about him losing fans after such a confession will prove totally unfounded.

First 'Google phone' to debut Sept. 23
Friday, September 19, 2008 @ 4:26 AM

A mobile telephone tailored to run on Google's Android software is to debut next week in New York City. US telecom carrier T-Mobile is slated to unveil on September 23 a "Google phone" built by Taiwanese firm HTC and to have the device for sale in stores as early as October. Google is hoping Android will become the dominant operating system for mobile phones. It is designed to improve the speed and quality of using the Internet on handsets.

Android is being developed as an "open source" platform, meaning anyone is free to use the technology to make mobile telephones compatible with the networks of multiple carriers. Google announced Android plans late last year and analysts reacted by saying it could potentially transform the mobile telephone market by providing service supported by advertising instead of subscription fees. "We are seeing a number of technology companies demonstrating how Android will operate on their technology," Google spokesman Barry Schnitt told Agence France-Presse at a Mobile World Congress gathering in Spain early this year. "Clearly momentum is building."

Google announced a 34-member group called the "Open Handset Alliance" in November of 2007 to develop Android, including China Mobile, HTC, Intel, Motorola, Qualcomm, T-Mobile, Telefonica, LG and eBay. ARM, Marvell, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, NEC, ST Microelectronics were reportedly among companies that demonstrated Android phone prototypes at Mobile World Congress.

bed frame ideas?

Any ideas for a home made bed frames? If you don't have the boxspring, you can just buy a couple of sheets of plywood at a hardware/lumber store. They'll even cut it for you.

Assuming you have a twin bed, you can use one sheet of plywood and put your risers underneath it.

It might be easier for you to find a used boxspring & bedframe or a platform bedframe for free in your neighborhood by perusing the Free ads on Craigslist or Freecycle or posting under the wanted section.

If it has on board graphics, i would say it is the best one because it has 2GIG-DDR as well as a 2GIG memory with 250 GIG hard drive. You must always chech the proccessing speed. I can't see many on these examples but you must get one with at least 2.1ghz pro speed or above for gaming. And your not waiting for ever for things to be installed and downloaded. Remember, the rule of thumb when buying computers is the bigger all the specs, the better unless you are comparing dual core and quad core procceesors.
To give you a comparason.
I have a VAIO £750.

Happy 113th birthday for world's oldest man
@ 8:08 PM

From Tokyo, Japan The world's oldest man celebrated his 113th birthday on Thursday, telling reporters at his home in southern Japan about his joyful life and healthy appetite. "I'm happy," said Tomoji Tanabe as the local mayor presented him with flowers and a giant tea cup glazed with his name and date of birth. "I'm well. I eat a lot," he added. Tanabe, recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest living male last year, eats mostly vegetables and believes the key to longevity is not drinking alcohol.

The former civil servant lives with his son, drinks milk every day and has no major illnesses, although he now writes in his diary only once or twice a month. He used to write on a daily basis. "His favorite food is fried shrimp, but we've heard that he's cut back on oily food," said an official at his hometown of Miyakonojo, about 900 km (560 miles) southwest of Tokyo. "He's said he wants to live for another 10 years, that he doesn't want to die." The Japanese are among the world's longest-lived people, with the number of those aged 100 or older at a record 36,276, a government report last week showed. Japanese women have topped the world's longevity ranks for 23 years, while men rank third after Iceland and Hong Kong.

Brow Lift Surgery
@ 7:44 PM

My mom just turned 50-year-old last August 21 and shes now getting conscious with her beauty. My mom don't look that old but forever young is not real. Gravity will pull us down and us we get old our skin will go down. But we are now in 20th century and technology is one of the best friend of almost every human being.

Then this afternoon my mom called me to ask a favor, to look at the internet for Maryland browlift or brow lift surgery information. She said she needed it cause she notice her eyebrows is dropping that sometimes causes of eye irritation and makes her eye so red because of scratching it. I browse and browse, finally got some information about this browlift, also known as forehead lift. Forehead lift is surgical procedure for those who need to improve their appearance, I got this information at Renudc.com . WOW! this is good news. After this information I got. I told my mom about it and excited to have this kind of experience.

The latest contact craze: Swarovski crystals
Wednesday, September 17, 2008 @ 12:00 AM

As if those anime contact lenses weren't the scariest thing going on, now there's the equivalent of the overly ostentatious grill, the eye bling. Blogsters Guild about sums it up:

Designer Anthony Mallier from India has created 'Sparkle' contact lenses to make your eyes "Sparkle like they've never sparkled before." The 'Sparkle' contact lenses are fused with tiny Swarovski crystals in a circle around the edges of the lenses.

Can we just say, "yeeeooowwccchhh?" Would anyone be crazy enough to put fine crystals in their eyes? Besides maybe Lil' Kim?

Lost cat returned home after nine years
Saturday, September 13, 2008 @ 8:41 PM

A couple have been reunited with their missing cat after nine years, the RSPCA said Wednesday. Dixie, a 15-year-old ginger cat, disappeared in 1999 and her owners thought she had been killed by a car. She was found less than half a mile from her home in Birmingham after a concerned resident rang the animal charity to report a thin and disheveled cat who had been in the area for a couple of months. RSPCA Animal Collection Officer Alan Pittaway checked her microchip and confirmed it was Dixie. She was returned to her owners, Alan and Gilly Delaney, within half an hour.

"In 29 years of working for the RSPCA I have never seen anyone so excited and happy as Mrs Delaney," Pittaway said. "It made my day to return Dixie to her owners. "The couple were "overjoyed" to be reunited with their missing cat after so many years. "Dixie's personality, behavior and little mannerisms have not changed at all," said Gilly Delaney. "We don't think she has stopped purring since she came back through the door." The RSPCA hope the story will encourage owners to have their pets microchipped.

Mom allegedly uses daughter's ID to be cheerleader
Friday, September 12, 2008 @ 8:36 PM

A 33-year-old woman stole her daughter's identity to attend high school and join the cheerleading squad, according to a criminal complaint filed against the woman. Wendy Brown, of Green Bay, faces a felony identity theft charge after enrolling in Ashwaubenon High School as her 15-year-old daughter, who lives in Nevada with Brown's mother. According to the complaint, Brown wanted to get her high school degree and become a cheerleader because she didn't have a childhood and wanted to regain a part of her life that she'd missed. Brown allegedly attended cheerleading practices before school started, received a cheerleader's locker and went to a pool party at the cheerleading coach's house.

The $134.50 check Brown gave to the cheerleading coach for her uniform bounced, the complaint said. A high school employee, Kim Demeny, told authorities that the woman, posing as the teen, seemed very timid. Demeny said she told her she was not good at math and even cried when she talked about moving from Pahrump Valley High School in Nevada. Demeny said she looked older than a student but had the demeanor of a high school girl. A school liaison officer started investigating after Brown only attended the first day of classes last week, the complaint said.

Assistant Principal Dirk Ribbins later learned Brown's daughter was enrolled at Pahrump Valley High School. Ribbins also spoke with Brown's mother, who told him she had custody of the girl. She said Brown has a history of identity theft crimes, the complaint said. Brown made her first court appearance Friday by video conference. The judge set bond at $8,000. If convicted, she could face up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine. There was no attorney listed in Brown's online court records. Her home number could not be found.

Credit Card Shaving: Scammers Go Low-Tech With Trick
Thursday, September 11, 2008 @ 5:26 AM

Glue sticks and sharp knives power this scam

Forget high-tech hacking. One new credit card scam relies more on X-Acto knives and glue sticks than wi-fi and laptops, but helps criminals steal your money just the same.

Shaving is a low-tech form of card theft where thieves sort through sets of 16-digit numbers to find one that matches an existing card, and then verifying that number either by trying to make a purchase online or by phone. The scammers can also buy a list of valid credit card numbers from black market sites online. Once they have their hands on a valid account number, they then create a new card with those numbers by shaving the numbers off of gift cards or expired credit cards and gluing them onto a defunct or stolen card. The magnetic strip is gouged with a knife or pen so that a store clerk has to manually enter the account number on a keypad, and the charge goes through.

If they're successful, months can pass before a cardholder discovers the fraud. After all, if your wallet hasn't been stolen and you haven't misplaced a card, you may be puzzled to discover that your card has been compromised even though it's safely tucked away the entire time. While it might not be the simplest way to commit an identity theft, card shaving is on the rise. "Desperate times mean desperate measures," said Robert Siciliano, CEO of IDTheftSecurity.com and author of "The Safety Minute: Living on High Alert." "In this economy, we are seeing scams of all kinds resurfacing, including credit card shaving."

Both Merchants and Consumers Are Gatekeepers
Card shaving's growth comes partly as a reaction to increased high-tech credit card security steps, experts say. "As regulations and security tightened on electronic credit card processing networks, it became increasingly difficult for hackers to penetrate them," says Shyam Krishnan, an industry analyst with the Smart Cards group at Frost & Sullivan, a high-tech research and consulting firm. And so they turned to other low-tech scams, such as card shaving.

Because the scam requires clerks to enter the card number manually, merchants are the first line of defense in catching the perpetrators. These fraudulent cards usually look suspicious to begin with -- the numbers and letters often haphazardly glued on -- and that alone should raise red flags with store clerks and cashiers. However, many shaving scammers primarily use the cards in busy bargain stores where clerks are too harried to pay much attention and verification systems are so outdated that they don't require a matching ZIP code or other personal data.

"If merchants physically inspect all cards, they'll minimize the incidents of counterfeit cards being used," says Tom Harkins, chief strategy officer at Secure Identity Systems.

Visit the Banking & Budgeting Center
It's in the merchant's best financial interest to keep a watchful eye. After all, any charges made with the number would likely be disputed by the card's rightful owner, leaving the merchant with little option but to absorb the loss through a chargeback. That's why Siciliano recommends that merchants refuse service if the card doesn't scan. "Manually typing the card number in when there is even a hint of suspicion is risky," he says.

Merchants should also turn the card over and ensure the back of the card has the proper marks. For sales conducted without a card for online or phone transactions, Harkins advises merchants to protect themselves by requesting the three-number security code on the back of the card (four digits and on the front of American Express cards). "If it doesn't match, ask additional questions or investigate the customer before completing the transaction," he says.

Inevitably, some of the scammers will succeed, and unless the cardholder has a firm handle on his or her account, the crime can go entirely unnoticed. Experts say this further reinforces the need for cardholder diligence on a regular basis. "It's vital to check your balances and accounts on a regular basis and report any suspicious purchases to help identify the theft quickly," says Krishnan.

Disposable Card Numbers Are One Solution
Another way consumers can fight shaving is with a credit card account that generates a new number for every new transaction. Citibank offers Virtual Account Numbers to cardholders for online purchases while PayPal provides the Secure Card in the form of a MasterCard debit card. While these can only be used online, Qsecure is rolling out a SmartStripe credit and debit card that looks like any other card. However, a chip embedded in the card's magnetic stripe automatically generates a different number for each purchase.

I Kissed A Girl lyrics

Not me, I mean, I didn't kiss any girl in my life. Never cross my mind to do it. Maybe its different feeling and excitement to kiss a girl if you're a girl too. Katy Perry - I kissed a girl is one of the top hit song here in North America (I don't know with the other countries). The message in the song is like a reality check to the girls who want to experience the girl to girl kiss. I like Katy Perry's beauty and style. I wonder what is the feeling of kissing a girl....**giggle!!!

Is this happening to you also? Im talking about my page rank. I just have an email from a friend that she have websites that PR4 then goes down to zero. Then I try to check my PR and guess what I found out, I also from PR3 to 0 (nikkypals.com)...

I wanna cry, i wanna scream and I wanna be depress on what happening to Google update. Im disappointed on happening now. Lot of website have the same thing happening to them. I checked Crunchyroll.com, the website where I always go to when I watch Asian movies or Anime. I checked it today its now only PR3, before its PR5. Even the JohnChow.com where blogging is about money making and famous almost to all bloggers because of her money making skills, he got PR3 from PR5. Is this injustice? Or just google testing our internet skills.

Google company is the biggest internet advertiser and some company looking for publisher needed a PR2 above. How can we cope with kind of insanity? Theres nothing I can do now but accept the fact that I'm just a simple blogger earning a little dollars in writing. I enjoy blogging and page rank will not stop me on posting everyday.

How many hours do you sleep?
Monday, September 8, 2008 @ 12:00 AM

According to Mayo Clinic general health specialist Kenneth Berge, M.D. ,the amount of sleep you need depends on many factors, especially your age. Newborns sleep between 16 and 18 hours a day and preschool children should sleep between 10 and 12 hours. Older children and teens need at least nine hours to be well rested. For most adults, seven to eight hours a night appears to the best amount of sleep. However, for some people, "enough sleep" may be as few as five hours or as many as 10 hours of sleep.

I work at night (graveyard/night shift). And sometimes I feel sleepy at my work that I drink energy drinks like Rockstar Juiced (pomegranate), Starbucks double-shot (mocha) and Monster Mean Bean (mocha). Actually, this drinks helps me awake all night but after getting home. I notice my head starting to spin. I think thats the side effect after having the energy drink. I feel when I got home after my night shift I just want to lie down and sleep. But I can't do that because I still have to make some breakfast for my 5-year old because at 8am she's going to her school. She's in Kindergarten right now and enjoying it. My other daughter wants to go to the same school as her big sister but she can't go to Pre-school yet because the required age is 4-year-old, she's only 3 1/2. My other daughter is attending an activity class where she can socialize and play with other kids. It's an 1 hour per day activity with other kids (2 days a week). Mommies are required to be with them at the class. So, I'm there guiding her and telling her that she must be friendly with other kids.

Back to my topic, I think I only sleep 3 hours when I have work days. When it's my day-off I have like 10 hours or 8 hours sleep. Being a parent is a lot of work but never regret a single day I have my daughters because they are my joy and give me strenght everytime I see them.

You, how many hours do you sleep? Do you think its enough?

Don Lafontaine dead at 68
Friday, September 5, 2008 @ 12:00 AM

Voiceover Master Don LaFontaine has died. He was 68.

LaFontaine, far right, is pictured above with ET's Mark Steines and Mary Hart, and fellow voiceover artist Randy Thomas.

LaFontaine, known as the "King of Voiceovers," died Monday afternoon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. LaFontaine's agent, Vanessa Gilbert, tells ET that he passed away following complications from Pneumothorax, the presence of air or gas in the pleural cavity, the result of a collapsed lung. The official cause of death has not yet been released.

Over the past 25 years, LaFontaine cemented his position as the "King of Voiceovers." Aside from being the preeminent voice in the movie trailer industry, Don also worked as the voice of Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, as well as for CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox and UPN, in addition to TNT, TBS and the Cartoon Network. By conservative estimates, he voiced hundreds of thousands of television and radio spots, including commercials for Chevrolet, Pontiac, Ford, Budweiser, McDonalds, Coke, and many other corporate sponsors.

He recently parodied himself on a series of national television commercials for Geico. At last count, he has worked on nearly 5000 films, including appearances as the in-show announcer for the Screen Actors Guild and Academy Awards. Based on contracts signed, he has the distinction of being perhaps the single busiest actor in the history of SAG. Don is survived by his wife -- singer/actress Nita Whitaker, and three children: Christine, Skye and Elyse.

750,000 television spots, 5,000 movie trailers, 1 voice, Don LaFontaine has the most recognizable voice in the game right now. Here is the legend's story told by none other than the legend himself.

Google having its own Internet browser called "Chrome"
@ 6:00 AM

The new Web browser that Google Inc. release Tuesday is designed to expand its huge lead in the Internet search market and reduce Microsoft Corp's imprint on personal computers. The free browser called "Chrome," is being promoted as a sleeker, faster, safer and reliable alternative to Microsoft's Internet Explorer, which has been the leading vehicle for surfing the Web for the past decade. Despite recent inroads by Mozilla Foundation's Firefox, Internet Explorer is still used by roughly three-fourths of the world's Web surfers. "What we want is a diverse and vibrant ecosystem," Google co-founder Sergey Brin told reporters Tuesday during Chrome unveiling. "We want serveral browsers that are viable and substantial choices."

Among other features, Chrome's navigation bar - the space where you type in an Internet address - will serve a dual purpose. Users can either enter an address into the space or type a search request that will be processed through their search engine of choice. Naturally, Google bets it will be te default search engine for th majority of CHrome users, helping to build upon its nearly 64 percent share of the worldwide search market. "You only have 24 hours a day and we would like you to do more searches," Google's other co-founder, Larry Oage, said at the unveiling. "If the browser runs well, then you wil do more searches."

And more queries generate more revenue for Google, whose search engine is the hub of the Internet's largest advertising network. Google also is counting on Chrome to become the linchpin in its effort to distribute widely used computer programs like word processing, spreadsheets and calendars through the Web browser instead of the applications installes on individual machines. If the crusade is successful, it might undercut Microsoft's profits by diminishing sales of its Office software package. "Chrome will strengthen the Web as the biggest application platform in the world," predicted Jon von Tetchner, chief executive of the company that makes the Opera browser, which ranks a distant fourth in the market. Microsoft, which crushed Netscape Communications to win the last major browser war in the 1990s played down the threat posed by Chrome.

Wednesday, September 3, 2008 @ 12:00 AM

I already learned using Adobe Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro like 3 years ago but I stopped for 2 years and now I'm going to basics again. I like making designs but I need a lot of time to make it and think for design and thats my biggest problem, i don't have much time because my two princess is always around calling my name for every need.

My brushes and texture before is in my old computer and I already dumped that old pc. Now I have my new laptop and starting over to have brushes and texture again. I search for tutorials to learn more and I really really like to be good at this. I already made 2 kinds of header (like the header on this page) but not satisfied for my work. I need to make it more nice. For me, my work right now is to basic.
