My kids are finally at that age where they're asking, "Mom, what are you going to be for Halloween?" Sadly, saying "a mom" doesn't fly. The world's tallest man, China's Bao Xishun, became the world's tallest father this week with the birth of his first child, a boy whose initial height seems a compromise between his gigantic dad and average-sized mum. Bao's son measured 22 inches long at birth, the senior doctor at Zunhua Hospital in Hebei province told Reuters. Although slightly taller than average for newborn children, Bao's boy came up well short of the 29.5 inches (75 centimeters) claimed as a record birth length last year, also in China. "Bao is quite happy. The baby is healthy and a normal size," the hospital's senior doctor Zhang told Reuters.
Bao, a 7-foot-9-inch herdsman from Inner Mongolia, last year married Xia Shujuan, a pygmy by contrast at 5-foot-6 inches. "I hope he or she can be about 2 meters tall," Bao, 57, said last year about his wishes for a child. "Then he or she can play basketball." His son weighed 4.2 kilograms at birth, a touch heavier than average. Bao briefly lost his Guinness World Records title as the tallest man to Ukrainian Leonid Stadnyk but regained it in August when Stadnyk refused to be measured under new guidelines. Bao's son was born on Thursday but news of the birth only spread widely on Saturday, with the Chinese press according the newborn a level of privacy that is rare for the world's tallest man. The former goat herder hires himself out for publicity stunts and his wedding last year was sponsored by at least 15 companies.

Golly, i've been working out to fix my connection for the couple of weeks but the result is still the same. What I'm talking about is I can't open certain websites like blogger.com, some blog websites, even YouTube. Lucky, it came out today and I don't know when this will be on. First, I thought its my computer problem, but its not only my laptop. My husband have his own laptop and I tried it on his, but what I got in his laptop? the result still the same very slow and can't connect on some websites.
I called technical support to help me out whats going on. And I know this going to happen...long talking...click this..click that. We chat for 1 hour and 30 mins. on the phone, she even recommend me to call the technical support of my anti-virus software. I hate calling technical service because sometimes it takes you long hours to talk to the operator and the result is still the same. I called my mom and ask her if her connection is alright because she is also using AT&T aircard, oh my god, she is having the same problem, slow and can't connect to certain websites. What is happening to AT&T.
Then I decide to look for my records if there is a warranty for this wireless card, I saw its a year warranty so I can replace it and go to the nearest store I can go for a new one. I called them again that I want to replace it and they say yes, all I have to do is go to the store and tell them I need a replacement. Unfortunately, I didn't go because I have work later on and I have lot things to do before going to work. I hope I can go tomorrow and see if the problem is in the card or the AT&T itself. If not I will go to Verizon and throw this junk.
My mother-in-law just migrate here a month ago and my husband is happy his mom to be here. I can see on his face how exciting he is to see his mom again. It's been last year since the last time he saw his mom. I'm so happy too, seeing my husband like that makes me feel happy too. After a week staying in our apartment she moved to San Diego, her daughter live there with her 4-year-old son and her husband. Only few days, she called to my husband and ask him to move to San Diego with me and the kids. I don't like the idea of moving anywhere, most of all in San Diego. Its not that I don't like my mother-in-law, I don't like to move other place and its far here from San Mateo,CA where I came for the first place since I got here in United States.
Me and my husband been arguing about moving, he wants the idea but me...a big NO. This is our life, our family and nobody can decide where we going to live even his mother. We are big enough to decide whatever we want to, nobody can dictate us. It's so annoying that she been forcing us to move there because she feels lonely only having her daughter and her grandson there at San Diego. I respect her will and feelings but all I can say is...I will stay here and that is my final decision.
